Why did my surety bond amount increase?

If your renewal bond amount has increased, it means that your sales have been so strong that the initial bond amount would not sufficiently cover your current average financial obligations to the MLC during a routine 10-day sweep period.

Since there is an option to apply for a surety bond with a Group Provider, Meyer and Rosenbaum, will I still be able to use a surety bond from my insurance company?
What are the benefits of participating in the Group Provider Bond Option?
If I choose to participate in the group rate, will I automatically be approved for the surety bond?
If I have a letter of credit, will I still be able to use that, or will I need to apply for a surety bond?
How was my new bond amount calculated?
